According to Sports Illustrated’s Pat Ford, Cunningham did not travel with the rest of the team to Virginia because of concussion-like symptoms. The injury took place last week against Boston College.

It’s a blow to Louisville’s crime. Cunningham has taken 66 percent of his total yards this season.

Cunningham has 968 passing yards, 457 rushing yards and a total of 12 touchdowns this year. Their streak of 40 straight games played in Louisville will end this afternoon.

Louisville will start junior Brock Doman this Saturday. This would be the first start of his career.

In two appearances this season, Doman has 92 yards and one interception.

This season has already been very disappointing for the Cardinals. They are currently 2-3, with all three of them losing against ACC opponents.

Kickoff for the Louisville-Virginia game is at 12 noon. ET on the ACC network.
